What a wild year! Thank you so much for all your support this year as our shop has grown and grown. We are looking forward to continuing to share our love of wallcoverings in 2024.

This winter solstice, we are sharing with you the pattern for a paper Advent Star from our Swedish friends at Sandberg wallpapers. An Adventsstjärna (Advent Star Lantern) or Julstjärna (Christmas Star Lantern) is a star-shaped Christmas decoration with electric lighting, hung by the window on First Sunday of Advent. It symbolizes the Star of Bethlehem or Christmas Star. The custom of Advent Star Lantern comes from Germany and is very popular in Sweden. The tradition dates back to the beginning of the 1800s.
